The Yamaha CGS103A is a perfect match for youngsters who have taken an interest in the guitar.

The concert-shaped 4″-deep body makes it feel more appropriate for children around the ages 6-12, and serves as a great transitional instrument for players who aren’t quite ready for a full-sized guitar.

It has a spruce top, meranti back and sides, and a rosewood bridge and fingerboard, all adding up to a sound and tone that exceeds expectations. The neck is nearly 23″, and constructed of nato wood in a satin finish, enabling players to slide their hand up and down the frets with ease.

The CGS103A is ultimately a solid choice for any student learning the ins and outs of classical guitar technique.
