The Farida D-10N is a great choice if you’re looking for a quality acoustic guitar to learn on or even as a secondary strummer for around the house. Featuring stripped back looks and upgraded specifications including a solid spruce top this is a great all-acoustic model for the modern musician.
We’ve focused our efforts on creating a great sounding guitar first and foremost giving the Farida D-10N a solid sitka spruce top paired with mahogany back & sides. This classic pairing provides full and focused tone with emphasised lower-mids and crisp defined highs. This tonal palette is great for a wide variety of music making this guitar extremely versatile. Of course looks are important too but in this case we really do think less is more. By fitting the D-10 with a simple black scratch plate and elegantly simple rosette we believe we’ve hit a great balance between looks and sound.
The dreadnought body shape is a traditional touch making this guitar ideal for picked chords and driving rhythmic work. First seen in 1916 this body shape is one of the most popular in our catalogue thanks to the iconic looks and well-defined tone that it provides.
The Farida D-10N doesn’t have any on-board electronics which makes it great as a guitar for around the house as a writing guitar or even for recording in the studio with a microphone in front of it.
The fingerboard and bridge of the Farida D-10N are made from sonokelin a wood which possesses many of the same tonal and aesthetic qualities as rosewood but at a much more affordable price point. Like all Farida acoustic guitars the neck of this model is extremely comfortable making it a pleasure to play for both beginners and experienced guitar players.
