This rare AKG D19 BKHi dynamic microphone looks good and sounds great
attached XLR cable
200 Ohms.
No case, clip or manual.
Bass roll-off control.
Polar pattern: cardioid, frequency response: 40 - 16,000 Hz.
The AKG D 19 is a professional dynamic cardioid microphone, light weight, slender, and handy, and provides excellent rejection of unwanted sound by uniform directivity at all frequencies. Continuous bass attenuation from 0 to minus 10 dB at 50 CPS is available for close-mike technique.
AKG is the original manufacturer but they built this mic also for Telefunken which made it famous as one of the Beatles' microphones. Telefunken had many of their famous mics built by companies as Sennheiser, Schoeps, AKG and Neumann. The D19 was a common mic at Abbey Road studios in the 60's, & there are several pictures of D19's in use in The Beatles Recording Sessions book (it's Ringo's drum overhead mic in one photo!).
