The CVP (Control Voltage Processor) is a +/-5v offset, glide (slew) and a bipolar attenuator.  There is a two-color LED present to provide a visual display of the output signal (+Red/-Green).

The multiple output provides a buffered copy of the input signal. It is configured to drive multiple inputs with no signal drop. The twin outputs are configured in the same way.  The total gain is trimmed to exactly 1.00, making the module suitable for use with pitch CVs.

This thing will allow you to scale, invert, offset, and/or slew a signal - and then send it to a half-dozen different destinations without any voltage drop. It'll do portamento on pitch CVs without wrecking the v/oct scaling; I've tested it successfully driving up to 6 VCOs in unison. It'll show you exactly what the signal's doing with the LED. And it'll do all that while providing a buffered copy of your original input signal for you to take elsewhere in your patch.
