1997 Pete Baranet '' MAX '' 1959 Les Paul Burst Aged by Murphy

Being offered here is a 1997 "Max" ( or of his real name Pete Baranet ) built 1959 Les Paul replica. This one was made to replicate the "Beauty Of The Burst" page 76-77 guitar sn: 9 0926. This guitar was built, assembled and totally done by Max himself, not a kit, this is one the last ones built before he stop offering them. The guitar was aged by Tom Murphy while in the possession of the previous owners. ( I have two photocopies of the picture of Tom Murphy holding this guitar with the previous owner. One of the picture has a handwritten note (directly on the phoytocopy) by Mr Tom Murphy himself, and the other has a handwritten note ( again directly on the photocopy) by "Max" himself.

The guitar comes with a signed and stamped certificate of authenticity from Max himself. The guitar comes in the famous brown and green plush case

Period correct inlays, nitro cellulose lacquers and hyde glue

Loaded with: - A set of double black 1959 unopened P.A.F. pickups and covers
- An authentic 1959 full harness including bumble bee caps,
- Switchcraft 3 way switch,

- Original ABR-1 bridge and thumbwheels, pots, knobs, knob pointers, truss rod cover and tuners with original tips.

- Pickup rings are "Over The Pond".
- Pickguard was made by "Max". The tailpiece, studs, pickguard bracket, 3 way switch tip, poker chip, back plates and jack plate are repros.
