Need to sell now, this is a great value! EASTMAN AC 508ce Grand Concert 2011 Englemann Spruce solid top and solid Flamed Mahogany back and sides.This earlier 2011 model serial # 9288 has this BEAUTIFUL flamed Mahogany back that you no longer see on any of the newer models, even the higher priced ones. I sure can not find one. Rosewood binding on body and neck, some small nicks, see pictures. Absolutely NO strum or pick marks on Englemann top. Mahogany rosette, solid black Ebony finger board. Rosewood laminate on head stock. Fishman pick up system in perfect working order. 25" scale length. Neck angle perfect and neck is straight. Action excellent with no fret buzz. This guitar sounds GREAT! Very big and warm for a GC, and SO comfortable to play. The guitar has not been out of my home and has always been properly temperature and humidity controlled. There are some marks on the guitar, 1) ding on upper bout, complements of my music book,I was not happy, not through finish. 2) scratch on back of head stock,through finish and one ding on top of head stock. 3) five or so very small dings in binding. 4) two very small scratches in the sides which you will see in the pictures. Very minimal fret wear on first two frets [see pic]. Includes its Eastman case in Great condition. I personally feel these older played in models sound better than the newer ones.
