Fender Deluxe Reverb '65/66

Up for sale is a Fender Deluxe Reverb circa 1965/1966. Has ‘OL’ stamped on the tube chart which dates it to December of ‘65 and the transformer codes line up with that. Also has “5U4GB Fender said to..." scribbled in red ink. I guess someone replaced the rectifier tube and wanted to make a note. Has been outfitted with a JBL K120 speaker. Has Tung-Sol 6v6GT power tubes, a JJ rectifier, and Groove Tube/Ruby preamps. Amp sounds fantastic but it is a 50+ year old amp and is showing it’s age with some scratchy pots, and the Reverb isn’t working. Looks like the tank has been replaced. Comes with original footswitch that still activates the tremolo.

This is a cool amp that sounds great. Cosmetically the grill has browned a good bit, and it has a small tear (see photos) also has some wear and tear on the tolex but it’s in great shape for it’s age.
