Parasound D/AC-1000 Digital-to-Analog Converter

You're looking at a Parasound D/AC-1000 Digital-to-Analog converter. This is really home hi-fi gear, but can be a crucial go-between from recording interfaces with S/Pdif output and other gear. This particular unit was used for years in-between a MOTU interface and powered studio monitors.  The mixes were never accurate upon outside playback until this was put into service. 

Take note of the condition in the photos. This unit was used in a professional mobile application and has the scars to prove it. There's plenty of rack rash and one of the ears is bent up.
