About This Listing

A super rare vintage 1963 Ampeg R-15-R Supereverb tube combo amp in good condition for its age.

Produced barely for a year this is one of Ampeg’s rarest models and hard to find (Spring Reverb, Tube Tremolo)

Great clean tone, tweed-ish overdrive as you crank the amp late 50's early 60s tone, pushing 25 Watts through a single 15 inch speaker

All Original
Original 15 inch speaker
Original spring reverb
Original Transformers
Original Circuit (3 prong conversion see below)
All decals are still in the amp (circuit, tube, serials, etc)

Condition/Upgrades/Mods
New power tubes (JJ/Tesla matched - original will be shipped as well)
Did a 3 prong chord conversion for safety purposes, everything else remain unmolested (circuit untouched)

Recommendation -
Maybe some new pre-amp tubes as they are still original
