This is an excellent practice device for anyone who wants to play quietly or not use an amp. It's a compact line driver and monitor amplifier designed for guitar, bass guitar or keyboards. Listen through headphones, or use the TM-3 as a pre-amp and connect it to a mixer or amplifier. Through the stereo-in jack the instrument can be mixed with the sound of an external source like a CD or MP3 player.
