Rare HY LO  guitar in very good condition for a 1965 Guitar !

It was only for about six years in the 1960s that the Hoshino Gakki company, AKA Ibanez, produced these way funky guitars at their Tama plant in Japan.
The Tama built guitars were heavily influenced by the English guitar brands like Burns . In fact , the Tama electrics  were sold in  greater numbers in Europe and England rather than the United States.
This is a super rare Hy-Lo Model 2103 that looks a little like a Burns Bison with the wicked horns and segmented pick guard.
Absolutely one of the coolest guitars that ever came out of 1960's Japan .  Plays sweet, low action, nice neck if a little chunky. Made from solid wood, fairly light and well balanced.

The electronics work as they should  and it sounds great! Condition is very good with a few   areas of abrasion on the body  as you can see in the pics.

A rare guitar for your Japan collection !  Will come with a gig bag as well
