- Designed by a Grammy-nominated, award winning producer/engineer/mixer
- 12-25 watts of glorious 6V6GT or 6L6GC power
- Cathode-biased design - no need to bias the amp when changing tubes.
- Two distinct preamp channels:
- Channel 1 - Cascaded 12AY7 - beautifully touch sensitive with lots of grit - like a quieter, growling 2204.
- Channel 2 - NOS 5879 pentode tube, loosely based on the first channel of the venerable Gibson GA-40 of the late 1950s. Smooth, clear and slightly brighter than Channel 1, with an extended low-frequency range. Great with pedals.
- Massive Heyboer transformers and choke, custom made in the USA. Way overbuilt - these should last forever!
- Tube rectifier for warm and beautifully compressed tone when driving the amp.
- Highest quality parts, sourced in the USA where possible.
- Heavy gauge, custom made, powder coated and screened aluminum chassis.
- Combination turret board and point-to-point construction
- Tube complement: 12AY7, 12AX7 (x2), 5879, 5Y3, 6V6GT (x2) or 6L6GC (x2) with GZ34/5AR4 rectifier
- Simple but effective single-knob Tone control with channel-independent circuitry
- Phase inverter bias modulation Tremolo - deep and juicy!
- In-rush current limiter start-up provides a "shock absorber" for power-on transients.
