This is a rare to find top of the range, fully loaded S-DMX, with a large amount of delay/sampling time! 6.5 seconds of delay on channel A and 6.5 seconds on channel B.

Importantly this unit has just been expertly serviced ready for sale by one of the leading AMS RMX/DMX specialists in the UK. No scratchy pots, leaky batteries, bad buttons, noise or anything else. The rear DB25 connector port has been fully set up and tested to run the AMS Chorus Controller, should you want to use one.

Servicing included re-capping the power supply, motherboard and cards, fitting a brand new set of new ribbon cables, new power inlet filter, a new factory spec cooling fan and a new memory battery.

The S-DMX was the very last of the 15-80 series of delays, so benefits from all the various factory hardware and software upgrades that came along such as, dual sample lock, long sample/delay times, the later switch-mode PSU, the ability to chop and manipulate the samples more, such as reverse them etc. So if you are looking for a DMX this is as good as they got!

It has twin/stereo delay, dual pitch change (with stereo de-glitch board fitted), dual sample lock in, flanging, VCO vibrato, automatic double tracking, and is fully tested and set up to run the AMS Chorus Controller via the DB25 connector on the rear panel(often missing or not working!).

Comes with power lead and full S-DMX owners manual. Superb condition throughout with only minimal marking from racking.

Flanging, sampling, delays, ADT, doubling, comb filtering, modulation..crazy, pitch shifted, infinite delays..this box does everything.. and in stereo..with a smoothness of sound that is simply unatainable with anything else.

These units have (and still are) been used on countless hit records. They really need no introduction. There is no alternative If you want this sound, plug-ins and even the new hardware effects just don't come close to the sound of these AMS units.
