Western Red Cedar is a softer wood that has great warmth. Because of the warmth of cedar, it pairs very well with the human voice and is great for singers/songwriters. Cedar naturally amplifies quieter playing styles and is a favorite of finger pickers.
BODY SHAPE
The Teton classical guitars are built in a very traditional manner. The same techniques used by many Spanish builders are employed in the construction of the Tetons. Classical players will feel very comfortable and at home on a Teton classical.
