Overview
Borrowing its body from the 480 but adding on some sweet deluxe features, the Rickenbacker 481 electric guitar boasts slanted frets meant to match the natural angle of your fingers as well as a pickup phase reversal switch and two humbuckers. The slanted frets were standard on some Rick instruments, like the 481, but were optional for others; they also proved useful in some ways while hindering in others.
