Basic early 90's drum trigger unit, great for turning your kit into a midi controller.
RACKMOUNT Main panel features a 40 X 2 LCD display, 13 push buttons and headphones.
Back panel terminal connectors:
- 12 analog triggers (including hi-hat) inputs
- Midi interface
- main signal out
- aux analog out
- hihat pedalswitch input for hihat control
- program change pedalswitch input.
TECH Main CPU H8/532 - 6435328 with a 16 bits DAC based on Burr Brown PCM56HP + dedicated IC YM3029 (floating point converter same found on synthesizers SY55 and SY99)- spotted also an unknow SMD IC YMW269-F.
Each kit is composed by different samples/sound at 16 bits from the internal ROM assigned to a specific Midi note.
PCM WAVETABLE a pure rompler module: internal wave ROM contains 245 samples at 16 bits resolution

Percussives sounds and drum kits are organized into 6 sounds categories: kick, cymbal, snare, tom, percussion and effects.
TRIGGER signal input gain and threshold can be set manually or automatically using the AUTOSET function. Special Crosstalk Rejection function manages possible false hits.
