The Supro Lexington was one of the very last Supro guitars manufactured. They're much more F*nder in design that their earlier more classically styled offerings. They do feature the same warm and burly pickups as the earlier models that has become the foundation of many current day artists including Jack White and Dan Auerbach among countless others. This one got a quickie backyard refin at some point recently so the Supro logo is gone but there's no doubt on the origins. Gotta love the unique tortoiseshell pickguard and how it works with this deep metallic blue paint-job too. The body and neck are maple with a deep dark rosewood fingerboard. Be advised the necks on these are pretty chunky. It does not have a truss rod but the neck is reinforced with a metal rod to keep it straight.
