Fender Mustang Grunge Era '69 Reissue MIJ S-Serial 1994-95 Sonic Blue

Here is a sweet old grunge-era Sonic Blue Fender '69 Reissue Mustang S-Serial MIJ (1994-1995). Built for Fender at the legendary FujiGen plant it is true to the vintage Fender specs, with the '69 contoured body, 7.25 vintage radius rosewood fingerboard, 3-ply red tort pickguard and ‘F’ stamped neckplate. Neck dead straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. A very cool old stang and in great condition for the period with none of the big paint chips & dings we usually see on these. Just some patches of vintage yellowing discolouration and the sonic blue fading to a surf green as it usually does on these old Mustangs & Jag-Stangs. Other than that just light scuffing around the base & a few dimples in the body (not through the paint). A cool old mid-90’s 1969 vintage specification Fender Mustang in our favourite colour. No more Mustangs are being built by Fender in Japan since production was moved to Mexico, so snap up the Japanese guitars while you still can.
