Duane Waterman Custom Concert Guitar 2013 Western Cedar

Duane Waterman is a Luthier in Tucson who has been building guitars since 1973. Between 1996-2002 he worked at Tacoma Guitars and later managed Luthier Mercantile International, a well-known supply house for luthiers. He is a widely respected as a skilled and innovative builder, and this guitar demonstrates why. It is beautifully made, and features a Western Cedar solid wood, top. It also has an 18 hole bridge which give strings a better angle over the bridge, is easy to tie, and prevent them form slipping. This guitar has excellent volume, presence, and fullness of tone.

This guitar was custom made for its present owner, and is a step above his standard models, both in the quality of woods chosen, and and the machine tuners selected. Other nice touches include lattice bracing of Engelmann spruce, a fingerboard with 20th fret (high C), and white dots at 5th, 7th, 12th, and 17th frets It comes with Crossrock Fiberglass case.  This guitar is in near mint condition apart a couple of very minor nail marks on top. The action is very comfortable.
