Overview
The Peluso 22 47 is a large diaphragm tube condenser microphone which aims for the sound and look of the shortbody U 47. The manufacturer claims the circuitry is inspired by a rare "broadcast" version of the original U 47 which used a glass tube in place of the typical VF14k steel tube. Whereas the Neumann K47 capsule had two diaphragms on a shared backplate, the Peluso capsule uses an off-shore capsule with dual backplate design.
