Kramer ProAxe 1989 Black Sparkle w/OHSC (similar to Nightswan)

Up for sale is a vintage Kramer ProAxe Standard in Black sparkle. This guitar is in good condition with good frets and action. The body has several small chips as seen in the pictures.  The neck shows little wear. The back of the neck has some slight impressions (not photograph-able) from leaning up against an amp. The Floyd Rose bridge tremolo arm is included.  There is some rust/oxidation on the metal parts. The original hard shell case is included. The case is in fair condition and shows lots of wear. One of the latches is not functioning. The guitar is all original none of the parts have been changed. Please refer to the pictures!

One of the last production Kramers to come out of the factory was the ProAxe series in 1989. These guitars were designed partly by Ed Heller who was a repair specialist and Kramer luthier since the early 1980s. The ProAxe guitars were developed to carry the new Floyd Rose Pro trem and took on a 7/8 scale mahogany body with a scalloped lower horn, recessed trem cavity, a reverse pointy head with "ProAxe" after the logo, black hardware, Seymour Duncan pickups and a 24 fret ebony fingerboard with pearl markers.

This is ProAxe Standard with a Trembucker in the brigde and a reverse tilted single coil Hot Rails in the neck position. The controls were 1 vol, 1 tone, coil tap and 3 way switch.
