This is a limited edition 2012 Hofner German made Violin Bass to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee. The bass has been played lightly over the years and is in excellent conditions. It is an absolutely stunning guitar and delivers the classic Paul McCartney Hofner sound. It is one of only 60 made!
It has a chunky, flame maple neck with rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Open-back, strip tuners with pearloid buttons. A hollow flamed maple body with solid spruce top in Union Jack finish. 4-ply bound top & back. Trapeze tailpiece with adjustable ebony bridge. Bass weighs about 5 lbs. It’s loaded with two Hofner "staple" pickups. Dual volume controls with "tea cup" knobs & three selector switches on a pearloid faceplate. All electronics are in perfect working condition. The bass is in excellent condition and plays beautifully.
It’s comes with a very rugged and sturdy Hofner hard shell case.
