Ome XXX 5-string Banjo. Early 70s. 11 inch. Serial number 350. All completely original. There are a few dings in the finish that can be seen in the photos. The nickel plating is somewhat tarnished. Peruvian Mahogany Neck is straight, somewhat thicker than a Mastertone with a modified V shape. Very comfortable to play.  Nickel Plated Spun Brass and Steel Flathead Tone Ring, Ebony fretboard is clean, frets are in good condition with not much wear. 5th string spikes. Geared fifth string tuning peg. New 5 Star head. Binding in VG shape. Quality craftsmanship. Beautiful instrument despite it's age. Original case in fair condition. Case needs a little restoration. This banjo sounds great. It is loud. On the mellower side, not as bright as a Mastertone of the same era. Guaranteed to get people on their feet. Your audience will wind up dancing on the tables when you play this instrument ( do not try this at home.)
