DOD USA made vintage late 70's flanger pedal for guitar or this could be used for bass or with a synth as well, with the early analog Reticon BBD (SAD512D), which is near impossible to find anymore as this particular chip hasn't been made for 30+ years and it has some inherent intrinsic value in and of itself as a replacement chip for other vintage gear from same era. In fact the rare late 70's Arp Quadra string synth used 3 of this same HTF (SAD512D) chip in a 16 pin version for the heaven like chorus effect with the poly strings. This DOD 670 flanger was made up to about 1980-81 ish era when many stomp boxes and pedals still used the vastly superior IMO, real 3 prong grounded built in power cord and not a lame wall wart power supply, or the even way more lame 9 v batteries which never would hold long a steady voltage for strong consistent signal flow. These older DOD pedals were very nice effects pedals this flanger has a nice warm analog sound. The DOD 670 flanger is comparable to the vintage late 70's A/DA flanger, not nearly as good though IMO, and close in sound to the late 70's Ross or MXR flange pedals of the same era. Which again both those two flangers I favor more as well especially the excellent Ross Flanger. All 3 of those previously mentioned flanger pedals, used the later Reticon (SAD1024A) BBD which was clocked differently and used a different voltage supply on the PC board as well compared to the older (SAD512D) BBD which was clocked slower. This is a older version late 70's maybe very early 80's of the DOD 670 flange, I believe the model 670 flanger was still using the mechanical stomp switch. This vintage DOD flange pedal is all original as far as I know, and in very good condition and will be well securely packed in bubble wrap.
