What was refurbished on this guitar: When this guitar came in from the factory, the only issues found by the authorized refurbisher were a minor heel crack, which was then repaired and re-finished (see photo), and a problem with the wiring for the input/headphone jack. This model normally has a standard 1/4" jack and 1/8" headphone jack, with the push/pull volume knob toggling between clean and a built-in overdrive sound. They ended up replacing the stock input jack with a standard 1/4" input jack (no headphone jack) and adding a push/pull coil-tapping function to the volume knob, replacing the built-in overdrive feature. In the end, it makes this more of a unique electric guitar instead of a travel guitar. No other repairs or modifications were made to the guitar - they simply gave it a set-up and left it alone. Aside from the heel repair and modification to the electronics, it looks and plays like new.
· A - A tuning · Solid mahogany body · Mahogany bolt-on neck · Duncan Designed™ humbucker pickup (bridge) · Master volume knob with push/pull coil tapping, master tone knob · Rosewood fretboard with pearl dot inlays · Fixed bridge · Tacoma® die-cast tuners · Chrome hardware · 21 frets · 1.75" nut width · 19.25" scale length · Natural satin finish · Made in Indonesia
Most guitars we sell have no visible flaws. For any that do, we will describe the flaw or repair in the listing and include a photo if it is visible. In order to prevent false warranty claims, the guitar is given a brand new serial number and the back of the headstock is lightly stamped “used”. Every guitar in our store has been thoroughly inspected, tested and set-up by certified technicians – right here in Nashville.
We hand-select every guitar and only choose the best! As a result, we’re able to offer you quality guitars that look and play like new for significantly less than the retail price. If you haven’t done so already, please take a moment to read our feedback to see what all of our customers have to say about our guitars!
