January 1985 serial although bass has 12-19-84 in cavity, early production with screw top magnetic horseshoe pickup and neck toaster, bass is all original , plays and sounds great, has an extra strap hole in the upper horn and a clear coat chip on the headstock , great shape otherwise, very rare bass as only a handful came out like this , includes original black Tolex case w Rickenbacker logo
