One of the best practice amps on the market just got even better. The Orange Crush 20 guitar amp combo has a fully analogue circuit design. This is what really makes it stand out from the competition. Pretty much everywhere you look practice amps are digital with modelling and effects. Having all these features is all well and good but quite often you will find yourself playing with that amp than playing guitar. Here is where the Orange steps in. Compared to digital, analogue sounds much warmer and realistic. Using a three band EQ and an eight inch Voice of the World speaker sounds lush.

The Crush 20 has an improved foot-switchable overdrive channel and a CabSim emulated output.

Not only does the Orange Crush 20 make a great practice amp it is excellent for recording too. It comes with an emulated speaker output. The Orange CabSim emulated the sound of a 4x12 inch speaker cabinet. It sounds fantastic through headphones and can be used to record directly. A footswitch can be plugged into the back of this Crush. It doesn't come with one but if you use one it will let you skip between two channels with a stomp. The twin channel design is capable of high levels of gain. It lets you go from jazz cleans to seriously heavy metal. This is an excellent value, high quality amp for the house and recording.
