About This Listing

Here we have a very nice and clean Parker P44 in a stunning cherry sunburst finish. Some light clear-coat cracks around the volume/tone controls give it a nice patina. Comes with a nice, solid gig bag. According to Parker, this P-44 model features a Mahogany with Maple top, maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard, with a 25.5-inch scale length and 22 jumbo nickel/silver frets, as well as a Custom Wilkinson® vibrato bridge. The Parker manual says the P-44 is equipped with custom voiced Parker alnico magnetic (humbucker) pickups along with Fishman® piezo transducers mounted in a Wilkinson® licensed vibrato bridge. These piezo transducers, or acoustic pickups, are integrated into each bridge saddle and respond directly to the acoustic energy of your Parker guitar's strings, providing a full-range acoustic sound quality. Controls include a 3-Way Magnetic Pickup Selector, Magnetic Pickup Tone and (with push/pull coil-split switch) Volume knob, 3-Way Piezo / Magnetic Pickup Selector and a Piezo Volume knob. Includes the trem arm! Normal play wear for a used guitar. The guitar was made in Korea and, based purely on internet sleuthing, the serial number format indicates it was made after 2003.
