Model Overview:
Introduced in 1959, the Gibson ES-330 became a staple of Gibson's hollow body range throughout the 60's and early 70's, featuring it's signature fully hollow body design combined with a pair of warm and punchy p90's. Initially less desirable than the companies flagship ES-335 model, the ES-330 has gone on to become a favourite with players for its signature sound and looks. This model is a player grade example of a mid 60's ES-330, and has been professionally refinished a number of years ago in a flat black nitrocellulose lacquer, that is already started to check and age nicely.
The guitar features its original P90 pickups, with a bright and punchy bridge pickup that balances well with a fuller, warmer sounding neck pickups. The combination of the fully hollow body design and the P90 pickups offers a sound synonymous with ES-330 guitars and not found on many other instruments. This guitar retains its original nylon saddle bridge, trapeze and black reflector control knobs, and includes a modern hard case. This is the perfect gigging guitar for the vintage enthusiast or a great opportunity to take your first steps in to the world of 1960's vintage Gibson instruments at a player grade price!
