Kramer Focus 3000D 1984 Black MIJ RARE stock DiMarzio humbucker

Rare MIJ Focus 3000D. There is very little information to be found on these 3000D's, and how they differed from the much more common 3000's. The obvious difference would be the flush input jack, and single vol/tone controls (the 3000's were typical Strat-style input and controls). Less obvious is the stock DiMarzio humbucker, which some have speculated as where the "D" moniker originates.

It is rumored that these guitars were assembled in Japan of US parts (note the original US Floyd Rose).

This guitar works, but the input jack crackles and needs replacing; price is low for this reason. Otherwise, the guitar is shred-ready with straight neck, set up with 9's tuned down 1/2 step. It's been well-played over the decades, as the many nicks & scratches will attest. Someone will get a really great vintage shredder at this price.
