For sale is my 1940 Kay Orchestra Model 100B bass fiddle. This bass was set up for me by Kyle Perkins, bass player for Kenny and Amanda Smith band. Purchase price includes a K & K Bass Max bridge pickup and the padded deluxe gig bag pictured here. The bass is all original and has never sustained any damage or required repairs other than normal maintenance and set ups. It has a wonderful big sound, either plucked or bowed. Purchase price does not include a bow. This instrument is being sold for local pickup only in Chicago, Illinois. If you live anywhere within 300 miles of Chicago I am happy to meet you half-way to deliver the bass. I will not ship a bass fiddle so bid accordingly. At this reasonable price for an all original pre-war Kay, it's worth the drive to Chicago to pick it up. If you live within 300 miles of Chicago then I am happy to meet you half way to deliver the bass.
