Lodestone PP4-RW Primal PRO 4-String Bass with Gig Bag

This is my first encounter with a Lodestone bass, and I came away VERY impressed.   This bass stands out with some unique features, and delivers an awesome sound.  

With it's contoured body the PP4 is very comfortable to play.  It combines traditional and modern materials to steer bass development into an exciting new era.  Carefully selected tone woods are used in construction-alder for the body, Indian rosewood for the fretboard and hard rock maple for the slim, narrow and smooth neck, which features a 2-way adjustable truss rod.

The contoured body design enables funk players unprecedented access beneath the strings for dramatic pulls, while the body cutaways combine with a sculpted neck joint to provide easy access to every fret.  This is a bass that will rock with any band and any style.

This bass was sent to the refurbisher for a few finish blemishes on the edge, but I cannot find them, the finishing shop did a fantastic job!

Why buy a refurbished bass?

I specialize in manufacturer refurbished guitars and basses because I believe they are a tremendous value.  These instruments have actually passed more quality tests than those that go straight from the manufacturer to a music store.  These instruments do not have major flaws, they have had a minor issue such as a slight finish blemish or perhaps an electrical issue such as a loose solder joint.  I buy my guitars and basses from the largest, and in my opinion the best, refurbishing center in the country located near Nashville.  They are staffed with factory trained luthiers who take great pride in the products they put up for sale.  Each instrument must pass 5 tests before it is released for sale.  Some of the models are discontinued and have no issues at all.  Each instrument is stamped used and issued a new serial number.  This is to prevent unethical retailers from selling these instruments as new rather than refurbished, because a refurbished instrument does not carry the manufacturer warranty.  I live close enough to Nashville that I travel to the factory and pick out my guitars myself.  I play each one prior to listing it for sale.  You can be assured if I would not be proud to give it as a gift, I will not take it. 

The pictures in my listings are ALWAYS of the actual instrument that is listed, I never use stock photos for a refurbished instrument.  If I know why the instrument was sent for refurbishing I will put it in the listing, however many of them are rated NVR, which means no visible repair.  Please email me with any questions you have, you will find that I give very detailed answers.  I am a musician first, and that drives my choice of instruments to sell and the detail that I give in answering any questions.
