1973 S. Yairi Model 9100
Sadao Yairi was a guitar maker from Nagoya, Japan. He is
thought to have been the uncle or a cousin of Kazuo Yairi. A master
luthier in his own right, he built guitars under his own label, as well
as for Alvarez and Samick.
This guitar features a natural satin finish on a 25" scale, 12-fret neck with slotted headstock, with a solid spruce top, and (possibly) solid rosewood back and sides.
The fingerboard measures 1 7/8" at the nut, and 2 1/4" at the 12th fret. The body is 19" long, 10" across the upper bout, and 13 1/2" across the lower bout.
It is in excellent overall condition, with a few small dings, and a tight hairline crack on the top near the soundhole.
It's been professionally set up in our shop. It comes with a hard case, possibly original.
