Body Details: One-piece mahogany body. -- The body has had several modifications made. There is a hole drilled nearly all the way through near the volume and tone controls. There is another hole under the circular plate beneath the bridge. There is an alternate pickup route under the rectangular plate above the pickup. The pickup route has been heavily modified. (see pix)

Neck Details: One-piece mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood board and center dot inlays. -- The headstock has been reshaped. -- When the guitar was refinished the board was lacquered. The lacquer on the board has since been removed and the frets replaced by one of our in-house techs. -- The neck profile has been reshaped. -- The tuners were flipped in order to accommodate the reshaped headstock. Because of this, they rotate in the opposite direction. They still function well.

Electronics: Single humbucker pickup with a volume and tone control. -- All electronics are non-original.

Pickup Measurements: 7.8 kΩ

Hardware: Non-original MojoAxe compensated wraparound tailpiece bridge. -- Non-original bone-nut carved by one of our in-house techs. -- The tuners appear original however the ferrules have been replaced. -- The tuners were flipped in order to accommodate the reshaped headstock. Because of this, they rotate in the opposite direction. They still function well.

One is underneath the circular plate. -- Pickup routes have been added/modified. -- Electronics replaced. -- Sevared repaired cracks/breaks on the headstock. -- Tuners have been flipped to accommodate reshaped headstock, tuning rotation is reversed. Still function well.

Cosmetic Condition: This guitar has really had some fun stuff done to it! The entirety of the instrument has been refinished. The finish is checking heavily throughout and chipping in various areas.

Tech Notes: This guitar is currently setup with 10 gauge strings, low action, and optimal neck relief. The frets show no signs of wear as they are brand new. -- The serial number was removed when the headstock shape was changed. Appointments date this instrument from 1958 - 1960.

- All orders with 2-day delivery service will ship within one business day. Saturday Delivery is not applicable, but is available for an additional service charge in most areas. Free 2-day delivery service is not available on orders with offers.

- All packages are fully insured at no additional charge. Your instrument will be shipped using the highest level of industry-standard packing materials, in every attempt to make sure it arrives in ready-to-play condition. We will notify you prior to shipping your instrument if additional steps need to be taken in the packing process.

- Our shipping team works closely with the CME Repair Shop and our vintage experts to inspect and pack every instrument with the utmost care. These folks know what it takes to keep an instrument protected. As musicians ourselves, we know how important it is that you receive your CME package in perfect condition.

- Our international shipping rates should reflect on the item listing. Feel free to message us directly for shipping quotes on specific items or with any questions.

- All shipping rates are for actual transportation charges and do not include VAT, import taxes, or brokerage fees, which vary from country to country.

- If you order contains Rosewood, or any other CITES restricted woods, your shipment might be delayed due to Customs processing standards that CME is subject to as the shipper. All orders requiring CITES documentation must ship to the buyer's residential address. If your country requires CITES import permits, please work with your local Customs agency to obtain these permits prior to shipment.

- Most of our preset shipping rates are for USPS International Service. USPS is typically less expensive than UPS, but their international tracking system is not as accurate. We ship guitars via UPS Worldwide Expedited unless you request a different service. Arrival times may vary from country to country. Some large items such as bass guitars, drum kits, amplifiers, and speaker cabinets may not be eligible for shipping via USPS due to size limitations. Some brands cannot be shipped internationally due to manufacturer restrictions. Feel free to message us with any questions.

- We are unable to ship to Russia due to the current trade sanctions.

General Terms

Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.


Buyer receives a full refund in their original payment method less any shipping costs.
