Grey tolex covering with tan grille cloth, Metal Guild logo on front, original blue bell Jensen C12R speaker, 4 inputs, volume, bass, treble, tremolo speed and strength controls, on/off & standby switch.
The Guild amp designs of the early 1960s were generally based on amp circuits made by Ampeg and Fender. The 66-J amp is very similar to the tweed Fender Tremolux and the Ampeg Mercury. This Guild, therefore, sounds quite good.
