DESCRIPTION

Since its inception in the 1970’s the Pilgrim guitar range with its distinctive contoured fireblass back has been held in high regard by acoustic players worldwide.

Under the careful scrutiny of respected luthier and original designer Paul Tebbutt, the range has been revived and expanded to include folk instruments such as mandolins, banjos and mandolas, but Paul was keen to revisit the six-string designs that put Pilgrim on the map.

The new Pilgrim VPG900N Mayflower Deluxe is a beautifully crafted instrument that features a solid cedar satin finished top with flamed maple binding and inlaid wood rosette. The 22 fret neck is made from mahogany and black flamed maple with a rosewood fingerboard, whilst a bone top nut and ebony bridge combine to provide solid intonation and sustain. Gold die cast tuners are fitted to the beautiful burr-walnut faced headstock for hassle-free tuning.

The electronics are top-notch too, thanks to the Fishman Presys + onboard preamp and Sonicore pickup which also features an in-built chromatic tuner, anti-feedback control, three-band eq and phase control button. The Mayflower also comes with an high quality padded Pilgrim carry bag to keep your guitar safe when you are on the move.
