Gretsch String Change Buddy is a very handy foam wedge that is inserted under the Bigsby to hold the ball end of the strings in place while restringing. Simply place the ball end of the string onto the Bigsby, slip the String Change Buddy under the string bar to hold it in place, and you can then use both hands to attach the string to the tuners and tune up. Once the strings are changed, String Change Buddy can also be used as a string damper to reduce rattle and buzzing. Just slip it under the strings between the Bigsby and the bridge.
