First released in 1981, Tortex® Picks were originally intended to be a high quality replacement for tortoiseshell. Jim Dunlop’s trail-blazing creation became so much more than that, however, establishing its own identity and becoming the new standard by which all other picks are judged.
Building on the precision, consistency, and color-coded gauge system he introduced with Nylon Picks, Jim resolved to create a pick with a bright and snappy attack, superior memory and durability, and an improved grip. He chose Delrin as his base material and then spent more than a year developing a special treatment process to draw out its full potential. This treatment process is what sets Tortex Picks apart from all others, providing their unique grip-enhancing matte surface and aggressive attack. Finally, Jim expanded on his previous picks’ color-coded gauge system to create the bright and timeless palette that has become an industry standard. Because we stick to Jim’s original formula, Tortex Picks remain our bestselling pick line. And we still make them at the Dunlop HQ in Benicia, California.

We are committed to getting your purchase to you quickly without any stress. Orders will be shipped within 1 (one) business day. Saturdays and Sundays do not qualify as business days. If you placed your order on Friday, it will be shipped the following Monday.
We proudly use FedEx and USPS as our carriers. You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number as long as a valid email address is provided.
We only offer free shipping to the lower 48 contiguous states. AK, HI will incur additional shipping charges. Please contact us for a shipping quote. APO, FPO and US Protectorates (PR, VI and American Samoa) addresses will only be shipped via Priority Mail, and may incur additional charges. Free shipping DOES NOT apply.
If you select free ground shipping, a valid residential address must be provided. If you provid a PO box, we will contact you to provide a street address. This will cause delays for your shipment, so please make sure to update your address properly.
If you provided an incorrect or outdated address via checkout or Paypal, we will do our best to honor your request to change it. Once a package leaves our facility, there is no way to change the shipping address. Additional shipping charges will apply for a recall of your package. If the package returns to us as undeliverable, additional shipping charges will apply to reship your order.
We only ship internationally the products that are allowed to be shipped outside of the USA. Many manufacturers prohibit sales outside of the USA and we adhere to their policies. All international orders are subject to customs fees, taxes, duties, VAT, etc. These charges are NOT a part of the shipping charges, they are collected by your local customs agencies. Please learn about these charges before placing an order. Refusal to pay these charges results in "undeliverable" and "return to sender" packages. We do not refund shipping charges in these instances. If any charges incur in the return process, those charges may be subtracted from your refund.

We are committed to deliver the best experience to our customers. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a refund of the purchase price, an exchange or a store credit within 30 days from the ship date. Shipping costs will be deducted from your refund when you request a return shipping label on an order that qualified for “Free Shipping."
If you received a defective product, a wrong product, or damaged product, Pitbull Audio will replace it at no charge of any additional shipping cost. We will send you a prepaid label to return the item, and ship you a replacement. You will not incur any shipping charges. Please notify us of any of damaged, defective or misshipped products within 14 days.
After 30 days, you may request the manufacturer warranty if your item malfunctions. Pitbull Audio is an authorized dealer for all the brands they represent.
How to request a return:
Please email us or call us to obtain an RMA number. Instructions will be discussed with our friendly and diligent customer service representatives. All returns must be in a resalable condition, include all packing, accessories and paperwork.
We may apply a restocking fee if the returned products fall into the following categories:
· Missing packaging, manuals, accessories, or any other contents that were included originally
· Original box was written on, damaged, or taped with duck tape
· RMA number was not associated with the return
· Item is not in the original "like new" condition

The following items are NOT returnable, unless received DOA, in which we will send a replacement: Software, Electronic Delivery of Software, Special orders, DVD’s, humbuckers/pickups that were installed, strings, and drum sticks. Items that fall into the in mouth and in-ear use category, such as mouthpieces, earphones, ear plugs, harmonicas, cannot be returned due to health regulations
These policies encourage us to offer the best prices to our customers. Abuse to the return policy leads to increased operating costs and makes it difficult to offer competitive pricing, free shipping, reward programs, and giveaways.
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately and we will help you in any way we can. We offer a 30 day return policy. A 10% restocking fee might be applicable if the item you are returning is not in the same condition as when you received it. Unless we are responsible for the return (misships, defective items, item not as described, etc.) buyers are responsible for return shipping. We can offer our negotiated USPS rate for your return for your convenience.
All returns must be approved prior by our staff and an RMA number must be acquired before shipping.
