2000s Mosrite Johnny Ramone Signed Mark-II Guitar Guitar Punk GPC Mosrite Japan Complete w/ COA OHSC

Offered here is the iconic Mosrite Johnny Ramone Mark-II Reissue Guitar signed by Johnny Ramone himself. Hand built in Japan by Mosrite Japan (Kurokumo). One of a limited edition of 30 imported by Guitar Punk / Giorgini Precision Craft (GPC) of Seattle in early 2000 (GPC Guitars was founded in 1999 by punk legends Flav Giorgini and Mass Giorgini (Squirtgun, Sonic Iguana Studios). They produced numerous small-run lines of guitars, including Ben Weasel’s Weaselrite (Screeching Weasel), Jesse Michael’s signature guitar (Op Ivy), a guitar for Joe King (Queers) and a Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio) signature axe. The company closed in 2004). This Mosrite is number 15 out of 30. Includes all of its original case candies: Johnny's signed pickguard, Mosrite Japan cable, GPC picks, and the numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by both Flav Giorgini (President of GPC) and Johnny Ramone just a few years before his untimely passing. The guitar is in superb gently used condition as pictured. Sought after by serious players and collectors in the know, it features a rock maple neck with rosewood fretboard, the iconic Mosrite 'M' headstock, speed frets, white basswood body with black pickguard (Johnny's signed pickguard has never been installed), 3-way selector switch, master volume/tone controls with mismatched knobs, top input jack, stoptail bridge, and a ballsy pair of Seymour Duncan Firebird neck and Dimarzio FS-1 bridge pickups just like Johnny's. Guitar plays and sounds amazing and is basically impossible to find Stateside (the new owner may wish to setup the guitar to their personal preference after purchase). The only wear I see are mild pick marks on the installed pickguard and some light button marks on the back of the body if you look for them at an angle. The guitar has been displayed in a Hollywood production studio over the years and has rarely ever been handled. Ships in its original GPC hardshell case as pictured.
