I'm offering up my old friend, this 69 sg special. Serial no. 819976. Weird thing is I purchased it early in 1968 as a 67 leftover yet serial leads me to sell it as a 69. I have wondered about this for years because I know when and where I bought it. (purchased in Brooklyn NY in 68 from buddies music) I hate to let it go but my age n arthritis in my hands have made the decision for me.The guitar plays great..always had. It has never been repaired for anything nor has anything been added or replaced. The only parts missing are the bridge compensator tail peice tiny set screws. I Really don't know when they fell out but it never affected the tuning. Sounds great on a tube amp.Yes...it has its dings, especially on the back side. That is what happened to most guitars from the 60s cause we wore garrison belts with enormous brass buckles.LOL Has a chip out at the head stock caused by me about 30 years ago wacking into my band mates crash cymbal. Other than that its solid n sound ..the pots are clean no scratching pick ups are P90s and still whale. Look at pics Oh.....ORIGINAL CASE INCLUDED..Shipped via Fedex insured. I will answer any and all questions about my guitar, just ask.
