Italian (Candi School) Cello, Made in Genoa, Italy c. 1920

• Top table is two-piece fine vertical grained spruce
• Back table is two-piece moderately flamed maple with the flames descending slightly from the center joint
• Ribs of matching maple to that of the back table
• Scroll and neck are original of moderately flamed maple
• Varnish is deep reddish brown with amber hues
• This fine crafted Italian cello offers a deep, lush, projecting quality of sound that matches the magnificent workmanship of this instrument.
