In overall super nice shape, a true survivor if you will, easy 9 out of 10! This is the rarer, more desirable version. One significant touched up flaw as shown in pics on the lower front. Small one also on back lower horn.Various little dings present.The missing fine tuner has been replaced with a new one.This sounds and plays extremely similar to the Vandenberg with a poplar body,but with a 22 fret board. I have and had owned Vandys, Tracers and other Nitros and these are just simply Amazing quality guitars!

PEAVEY NITRO I
PEAVEY made the Nitro I Custom between 1987 and 1989. It was a single humbucker superstrat like the Nitro I but with a recessed Kahler 2710 double locking tremolo system. These Nitro Customs also had a different headstock shape to the standard Nitro model. Peavey described the Nitro I Custom as follows (in 1988):
The name "Nitro" says it all .....The Nitro I Custom is a super distortion-class instrument with simplistic function design, a very flat 15" radius on the fingerboard, and black chrome hardware. The bridge and nut locking systems are the finest ..... KAHLER/Rose Licensed systems. Handling, balance, and playability are at the max with one “hot” Alnico humbucker and the two-knob control layout. Concentrate on your music and let the Nitro I do the rest ..... explosive.
