Up for sale is this vintage 1950's Harmony Roy Smeck five string banjo project. This banjo is being sold "AS FOUND" and "AS IS". This banjo appears to be all original with the exception of the missing fifth string tuner. The neck is straight, but the action is on the lower side of medium. There is a small hole in the back of the neck from a thumb tack (Why? We don't know...) and an area several inches long where it looks like something burned into the finish at some point. It can be felt while playing. Other than that, this is a pretty nice example of a hard to find model. The original soft shell case is included, along with a few old thumb picks that we found inside. Don't miss out!
