Dobro M 65 Fiddle edge Dancing Lady resonator 1935-1936

This is the best sounding Dobro we have had in the store in a very long time. You don't have to play well to make this one sound good, just strum the guitar in open D and enjoy. If you can play, you will not want to put this one down. What we can tell by looking at the guitar is that the tuners are not original, the tail piece was changed. The resonator plate screws look oversize and are probably not original. The neck may have been off the body multiple times, there is no way to tell. The current neck angle is reasonable, however action in standard tuning would be unacceptable. There is a serial number on the top of the headstock.  The body is sandblasted etched with the Dancing lady, sombrero, moon, stars, and perimeter flowers. The body is in good shape but does have a few small dings. A section of the fiddle edge on the top portion of the lower bout is slightly compressed. Overall this is a great sounding classic Dobro with a true vintage vibe. This guitar has delivered the goods for over 80 years. It will arrive in a high quality hard case.
