Birdsong Embrace Fretless 2013 Natural Walnut

Custom-built Birdsong Short Scale Fretless Bass, "Embrace" (discontinued)

This was built by Scott Beckwith and Brady Muckelroy of Birdsong Guitars (San Marcos, TX) in late 2013. I have never gigged with it, and it has been stored in a smoke-free home.

• Walnut body w/ matching headstock (special order)
• Mahogany neck
• Ebony fingerboard, bridge, nut, and control plate
• 32" scale
• Strung with TI Jazz flats (standard length)
• Single Mighty Mite soapbar pickup and single volume knob
• Not sure of the exact weight, but it's light! (6-7 lbs)

I had Scott add a layer of wood to the bridge to raise the action (I'm an upright player), but it can be sanded down to lower the action if preffered. Plays like butter and is a great substitute for upright bass!

Includes MBT padded gig-bag (good handle, large pocket, bottom bumper, backpack straps) and Reunion Blues brown wool strap.
