This is one of Healdsburg Guitars The Four Elements This bass is called The Element Earth. It has a 17" carved back from "The Tree" and is the only acoustic bass in the world with this distinction. Rob Turner custom-designed a rare earth magnet pickup with a pre-amp for this bass. The wedge-shaped design is an acknowledgment of Linda Manzer's design. (please note Tom Ribbecke is not associated with Healdsburg Guitars)
When you play this bass you can literally feel the earth vibrate and your stomach rumble. It reaches so inside with its power and then takes you anywhere with its long low frequency and crisp notes. Each seems to bloom just outside the bass with a small explosion.
