Luminous Stroker Ace Black Limba Spalted Maple Top Bare Knuckle Nailbomb Handmade Stratocaster Style

The Stroker Ace is Luminous Guitars’ finest shred machine.  Designed in the modern classic form, this instrument features hand carved comfort contours, Bare Knuckle Pickups, premium Black Limba tonewood with a Spalted Ambrosia Maple top, a 10-14” compound fingerboard radius, and a Blower Switch for the bridge pickup.  Its lightweight body is equipped with a Hipshot hardtail bridge. This custom, handmade guitar is a dream to hold and a pleasure to play.  And it’s pretty easy on the eyes.

The body is constructed from Black Limba with a Spalted Ambrosia Maple top. These woods lends a warm, versatile tone with resonance and sustain to spare. The contours on the front and rear are carved by hand to offer comfort where you need it. The neck pocket is made to fit your hand while playing runs on higher frets: thinner toward the treble side to ease the fingers' reach. A high gloss lacquer finish protects and highlights the beautiful grain pattern of this unique body.

The neck is a single piece of Black Limba. A thin D profile, slightly flat on the bottom, offers excellent reach across fingerboard.  An oil finish gives a smooth, natural feel.  The Macassar Ebony fingerboard has a compound radius: 10” at the nut for comfortable chords, and 14” at the heel for ease of reach and string bending.  The headstock joint is hand carved with an elegant diamond volute.  

The Stroker Ace features Bare Knuckle Nailbomb pickups.  Among the finest pickups around, the Bare Knuckle name has become synonymous with power and clarity.  The Nailbomb set boasts a high output with tightened vintage feel. These pickups are routed through a 3-position switch and two CTS push-pull pots, providing coil splitting. Volume splits neck pickup, Tone splits bridge. A mini switch between the knobs sends the bridge pickup to output bypassing the volume and tone control. Called a “Blower” Switch, the result is aggressive and loud. Made for leads, and that moment when you just need a little more!

The Hipshot Hardtail bridge is features a chunky brass baseplate with stainless steel saddles for increased sustain and responsiveness.
