Giannini 12 String Acoustic Guitar Model - AWKS-12 Serial Number - 08/73
This guitar is in very nice condition and sounds really good. Some strap buttons have been added to the guitar and some angled slots have been carved into the bridge to give the strings a better angle over the saddle. I believe that this guitar was made in 1973. The original tags have fallen off the inside of the guitar but are included in the original case inside an envelope. There is also some paperwork/ sales receipts included from the original shop. The guitar has dual truss rods.
I was told that the bodies of these guitar have a tenancy to lift up fairly easily and this one looks pretty good. So, I have light strings on the guitar and it tuned to D standard just to baby it. There is basic fret wear on the frets but nothing that bothers playability. I would give the cosmetic condition of the guitar an 8/10.
