The machine is in great physical shape and works perfectly. It is designed to handle up to 1” tape and 14” reels on the “Hi” field setting while erasing both sides; however, I was able to successfully erase 2” tape on a 10.5” reel.
I don’t have the hub (didn’t come with one when I purchased it), but I have found using a short dowel and clamping on a removable hub from a machine like an Otari MX5050 works well.
