Very early yellow/white E-Serial Fender Japan ’72 RI Stratocaster built at the legendary FujiGen plant between 1984-’87. Looks like from the CST 50M designation (neck pocket on body and neck heel-see pics) it could be an old JV body. But with the inner workings of FujiGen in the 80’s who knows? Anyway it’s all original in good condition for a vintage 30+ year old Fender Strat. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, and still plenty of life left in the frets. Structurally and electrically sound. No issues at all. No breaks or repairs. No modifications that we can see. Has the playwear you would associate with an old FujiGen Strat. A few bumps & scrapes here & there with some heavier wear on the bottom body curve. There is some cracking of the clear coat on the edges of the maple fingerboard. No plastic back plate. All vintage ageing. It’s a great player as you would expect. Was originally Olympic White but has now aged to more of a yellow with all the plastic Especially the pick up covers) yellowing and the metal hardware taking on a nice dull patina all over. Complete with tremolo arm & Japanese gig-bag.
